Originally established in Toronto in 1984 as Pestex, when we relocated to the country we re-branded as Great Gray Owl Pest Control, inspired by the majestic great gray owl. Fascinated with this awesome bird of prey, we became avid owl watchers, observing as many as 25 owls up close on one of their rare visits to the region in 2005.

Our love of nature and wildlife makes us all the more environmentally conscientious and mindful of how we conduct our business and our personal lives.

We practice the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) using the least toxic methods and non-chemical preventive and exclusion measures whenever possible to achieve successful outcomes for our customers while keeping the environment and wildlife habitat safe.
